You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care may cost.
Under federal law, health care providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or not using insurance with an estimate of expected charges for services.
You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services. If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.
